CE Weldon Library

The CE Weldon Library is located downtown Martin, TN, and offers both traditional services as well as electronic library services.  In traditional services, the library provides books, videos, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, bestsellers, story hours, summer reading programs, and book discussion groups.  They host many community events throughout the year as well as regularly scheduled library services.  For more information about the library, visit their website at www.ceweldonlibrary.org.

Paul Meek Library

The community also has the ability to take advantage of the Paul Meek Library on the University of Tennessee at Martin campus.  The library offers books, articles/databases, journals, media center, and a special collections area. Fine Arts

UTM’s Visual and Theatre Art Department

The University of Tennessee at Martin’s Visual and Theatre Art department hosts the Vanguard Theatre and Fine Arts Gallery.  The Vanguard Theatre’s product company provides 2 or 3 mainstage productions each year as well as a number of lab theatre plays.  The auditions are open to all students and area resident.  This allows for participation in acting, stage-managing, technical aspects, and design and construction of sets and costumes of a theatre production. UTM Music Department

The University of Tennessee at Martin’s Music department offers an opportunity for musicians of all ages in the Martin Community Band. Martin, TN has a variety of strong local businesses as well as chain and franchise businesses. Recreation
