Local Food Guide
Partnering with the City of Martin and the University of Tennessee at Martin, a small group of locally minded citizens is creating a food guide to find food that is locally grown, raised and marketed in and around Weakley County. We are looking for information on farmers and producers from the area, as well as school and community gardens, farmers’ markets, restaurants and retailers that serve or sell locally produced items. Also, we are encouraging any information on community gardens, educational programs, social services and organizations that support the expansion of local food and food-security in our area.
Please provide the following information via email to [email protected] or by telephone at (731) 281-4242 if you would like be listed in the next printing:
- Farm Name
- Products (brief description)
- Street Address and City/County
- Phone Number
- Email, Website address, Social media link
- Hours (i.e., M-F 8am-5pm, Weekends only, call ahead)
The Local Food Guide is published and available at Martin City Hall, Martin City Hall, Dresden City Hall or the Connect & Grow, Northwest Tennessee Entrepreneurship Center
