Martin Veterans Day Parade
The City of Martin, Tennessee and Rolling Thunder TN-6 welcome you to help honor and salute all of our veterans and active military.
- The parade will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 10AM.
- The Missing Man ceremony will be held immediately following the parade at the City of Martin Public Library Stage.
- The parade route will begin at the corner of Lovelace and University Street and continue through Downtown Martin.
Parade participation is free. Businesses and groups are welcome to participate. All veterans and family members are welcome to ride or walk in the parade.
Anyone wising to participate in the parade needs to arrive for lineup at 9am in the UT Martin Business Building Parking Lot.

All Veterans are invited to a luncheon at the American Legion following the program. Lunch hosted by Auxiliary Unit 55.
The American Legion is located at 221 Central Street in Martin, TN. The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization. Focusing on service to veterans, servicemembers and communities, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States. Membership swiftly grew to over 1 million, and local posts sprang up across the country. Today, membership stands at nearly 2 million in more than 13,000 posts worldwide.Over the years, the Legion has influenced considerable social change in America, won hundreds of benefits for veterans and produced many important programs for children and youth.
