Martin Youth Fishing Derby

The annual Martin Youth Fishing Derby will be Saturday, June 7th from 7:45am – 12:15pm at the Martin Recreation Complex Lake.
⛈️The rain date for this event is Sunday, June 8th.
Participants should bring all items with them to fish, including bring a pole, bait, bucket or stringer, & seat/blanket.
This event is FREE for attendees and participants. The TWRA is allowing all youth participants to fish without an official license to encourage families to learn more about natural environments and increase the interest in fishing.
Schedule:
7:45am – Registration Opens for all ages (18 & Under) – (all ages can begin fishing)
9am – Registration closes
10:10am – End the 5 & under fishing
10:45am – End the 6-8 year old fishing
11:15 am – End the 9-11 year old fishing
11:45 am – End the 12-14 year old fishing
12:15 am – End the 15-18 year old fishing

Longest Fish
Heaviest Fish
Ugliest Fish
Shortest Fish
Best Dressed Participant
(Limited to one award per person)
