Brian Brown Memorial Greenway

The Brian Brown Memorial Greenway was first envisioned by Brian Brown, the late director of University of Tennessee at Martin’s Campus Recreation Program, who saw the need for a multi-purpose trail in and around the City of Martin and the UTM campus. The Brian Brown Memorial Greenway offers a peaceful escape for nature lovers, joggers, and cyclists alike. This beautifully maintained 3.1-mile paved trail winds through scenic woodlands and open green spaces. Whether you’re looking to start your morning with a brisk walk, enjoy a leisurely afternoon bike ride, or simply unwind in the fresh air, the Greenway provides the perfect setting.

Along the trail, you’ll cross a stunning 92-foot pedestrian bridge and find plenty of benches, shaded areas, and spots to pause and soak in the serenity. Family-friendly and pet-friendly, the Greenway is a beloved local gem that showcases the natural beauty of Northwest Tennessee while promoting healthy living and community connection.

Next time you visit Martin, don’t miss the chance to explore this quiet, scenic path—it’s a breath of fresh air right in town.
