Formal Board Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month.  Informal Board Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month followed by the 1st Monday. All meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas can be found posted on the city website homepage under Public Notices 10 days prior to the meeting date. Meetings start promply at 5:15PM and are located at the City of Martin Police Department inside the City Court Room Address: 732 N. The City of Martin Finance Committee will meet at 5:15pm at the Martin Police Department inside the Training Room. Enter from the east side parking lot through the single glass door. This meeting is open to the public. Meetings will be third Thursday of each month. Responsibilities of the Finance Committee  This committee originated by appointment by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, 1997; any recommendations will be presented to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen for approval. This committee discusses all financial matters related to the city. Powers include approving projects to send to City Board for consideration and advising the Mayor and Recorder about financial matters.
