Road Closures

City of Martin Public Safety Announcement Update

ROAD PAVING MARCH 2025

The City of Martin will begin its street resurfacing project on Wednesday, March 19th. Work is expected to last 2–3 weeks, depending on weather conditions.

The following roads are scheduled for resurfacing:

  • Hawks Road at Tobacco Lane and Wheat Street
  • W. Peach Street
  • S. McCombs to Poplar Street
  • Gardner/Hyndsver Road
  • Weldon Drive at Roma Street and N. Virginia Street
  • Neal Street
  • Ellis Street to E. Heights Drive
  • Mt. Pelia Road — restriping from Peach Street to Skyhawk Parkway

Please be advised there may be temporary road closures and detours during this time. We ask for your patience and cooperation as crews work diligently to complete these improvements as quickly and safely as possible.
